Default Which snow plow??

I have the 56" warn plow which I like, heavy duty. The only thing I didnt like was the mounting bracket that mounts to the frame of the machine. I keep shearing the bolts that bolt to the frame. I need to modify this bracket somehow. I use my winch which I keep burning out the solonoid. Do you really need the damm thing? Do you guys have any suggestions for a different hook up without the solonoid?

I'm getting the SP 600 twin and opted to get the Polaris plow and frame. The frame mounts to the rear hitch and to a mount in the front (which is additional), so if you do alot of woods/trail riding like we do you won't have any mount hardware under your machine that can get all bent up! My friend had a Explorer 400 with the Moose plow set up and his mounts were all mangled by the time winter came around! My quote on the plow blade, 60" is $169.00 and the frame is $249.00. Some models require an additional mount kit for $60.00. The 48" balde is $134.00 and is a snow/dirt blade. These prices are from NY.

You might also want to consider the new one Swisher sells. They have a plow setup that is similar to the one Polaris sells. However, they told me that their blade is tons better than the one Polaris sells. (take it for what it's worth, considering the source) The other thing I like about theirs is they also have a bucket attachment for it, so you can turn your ATV into a "mini-bobcat". I bought the Polaris setup, but haven't used it yet and am considering returning it to get the Swisher setup so I can get the bucket. Their website is http://www.swisherinc.com if you want to take a look at it.

I have a CC hooked up to my 95 Scrambler 400 4x4 (hehe) and it works great. This is the second year that I've been running it. The only problem that I had is that I broke one of the bushings where the blade hooks up to the mount, where it pivots. Probably from smacking the curb once or 10 times. lol.
The wear bar needs to be replaced, but I don't use the skids so I can scrap better.

I too have the Warn plow and love it. I have a long gravel driveway and it is no problem pushing the gravel around. Does good in dirt too. Set up takes a couple minutes and you about have to lay on the ground to do it. I would like to see the plow that hooks up to the rear hitch though. It would have to be easier. I got mine at Dennis Kirk too.

Hello. I have a Sportsman 700 Twin 2003 and I was wondering how you like you 60" plow. Do you have any problems with that size plow on your machine? I am thinking of the Moose 60". Do you know if it is designed for dirt also? That is one reason I want to purchase the Moose and not the Polaris 60". The sales person said that the Polaris 60" cannot be used for dirt, but is saying the moose can be. I also had a question about the mini rocker switch. Is that something you made or is it something that can be purchased? I just purchased a Warn A2500 Multi Mount winch and it should be here in a couple days. I really like the setup of the Polaris Deluxe plow mount. How bad is it to use the Moose mount?
