I went to price out a set of brakes shoes for a 2001 scrambler 90, HOLY COW! I'm looking close to $ 50.00.( Canadian peso's) I can buy brake shoes for a ford tempo cheaper than this thing. What's with the over pricing on the kids toys? This crap is made in China for pete sake, At most it should be$ 20.00 for both sides, but it' $ 24.00 + a side. The parts cost of thing
is killing me. Anyone know of a reasonable aftermarket source in the land of the Northern peso. Yours truly financially challenged, democratically suppressed or otherwise a canuck.

I ran into a similar problem when I went to put brakes my '01 500 Scrammy. The dealer quoted me $35.99 per side for the front pads and $35.99 for the rears. According to a friend that works at the Polaris parts warehouse it should be $35.99 for BOTH fronts and $35.99 for the rear set. It seams as though some dealers are splitting up the sets for the fronts and selling them as individuals. Make sure you question them if you get them from a dealer.

Also Polaris people check out this site. http://www.worldofpowersports.com
Email them about what part you need and they will usually get back to you in a couple of days with a hefty discount. And its REAL Polaris parts.
They quoted me $20.00 for two headlight bulbs when they are regularly $24.00 each at the dealer.
This place is crazy! I dont know why they do it....
