Does a k&n filter with stock outerwear require rejetting?

I was curious to know if anybody has added a k&n filter to their 400 explorers. Was rejetting needed? Would there be a chance of damage due to the possibility of a leaner condition?

Polaris says no jet changes are required when installing the K & N filters,but It's always a good idea to at least do a plug check
