Hey everyone, I am interested in buying either a 2003 Trail Boss 330 or a 2003 Trail Blazer 250. I need to know which is better and some pro/con's with the better one. Let me know your all's opinions [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-confused.gif[/img]

You need to let us know what you are planning on doing with this bike?

 

I plan on mainly riding trails and kind of fast, not to many jumps maybe 1 1/2 2 footers here and there.....so??

 

oxark man you must have lots of money to burn i read in the yamaha forum your lookin at a blaster or warrior how many quads you planning on buying

Both are very reliable but slow. The Trailblazer is faster but with the top speed of around 52-55mph. The 2003 has many upgrades that makes for a more reliable ride. You will be wanting more hp after a while. There is tons of mods that really wake the 250 up. With the mods that i have right now i have tons of low end and top out at 66mph. I am waiting for my cylinder to come back because it is being ported (By BUBBA297. So hopefully i will be around 70mph. They are awsome on the trails, very stable and comfortable unlike the blaster and warrior. But stock you will not even come close to the blaster and warrior for speed. I smoke them both now. The Trailblazer is a great quad but with some mods they are even better.

 

i agree with too many toys the trailblazer can be made to go faster i have a 03 trail boss and like it its very user friendly not a real screamer but fun should be fine for what you want im going to get a trailblazer to for my daughter it will remain stock it will be enough for her they are both good machines aso how big are you and do you perfer two stroke or four?

 

ya id go with the trail boss however to me there pretty boring stock (my mom drives one) there pretty slugish and heavy however it sounds the 250 does respond good to mods but i guess pretty much every 2stoke responds good to mods however you spend the same amount of money on a blaster or trailb the blaster is comming out on top cause its way lighter jmo lata

Yes stock for stock the Blaster ks a$$ but you will get whipped around pretty good on the trails. For me it was the size. Thats why i went with the Trailblazer. And it is very easy to mod.

 

it depends on it you want less weight, and if you want to go more qith a utility go with the trailboss, if your lookin for a faster trail bike go with the tailblazer, on just my opinion its less to deal with. yeah the trailboss is a 330 but you also have the extra wieght. so if you want more of a utility sport go with the trailboss, my unlce had a trailboss and he loved it but laer sold it for the scrambler. if you want to go with a sport trail riding bike go with the trail. i'v got one and i love it, and have no complaints.
