Default Greasing inside cv boot

I was about to grease all my fittings on my Sportsman 500 and was wondering if there are zirk fittings under the cv boot I need to grease to? I have already had on of the clamps knocked popped loose by a stick and managed to get it back on but don't know if there is one under the boots I need to grease to. Also to regrease under the boots do you have to buy new clamps each time you grease under those ?

Nightal,

There is no fittings under the Boot. I have had mine completely apart, (Putting on a New Boot.) and the only thing that is under the boot is the Joint. If you take them off just right you can reuse them. If you happen to break one then you can use on of the super duty Zip Ties. They work But I would recommend getting new clamps. I think that you can get them at AutoZone.

You 'never' regrease inside the CV boots. If a boot gets ripped, the new boot will come with grease. You should not ride with a torn boot. Even a small amount of dirt will damage a CV. If everything is in good condition, they are greased for life.
