Not sure if anyone has posted this yet. Just came from the Minneapolis Cycle show. They had the new KFX 700 on display, snapped some pics, then looked at the stat sheet. Dry wt 506 lbs., hmmm, maybe they should've put struts on the front instead of shocks.

Wow, just signs in, and can't wait to vent his KFX700 envy. Thanks for the compliments, yea, we can see right through you. If the KFX700 wasn't sooooo impressive, why would you take the time to write your little story. Just another tally on the Kawasaki that they did it right scorecard.

I think the DS is 460, next year it'll be 430.

Isn't that something, people can't even be original enough to write their own words....they just keep using mine over and over. Thanks man. By the way, I'd take a 4x4 Scrambler over the 700 any day. No offense Kawi folks, I'm sure the 700 has it's own niche', but not in my garage. Get that puppy down in some mud, and there goes your back. Just my 2c, but still nice to see the new machines. Where's Honda?

Ah I guess im tired also of people argueing about quads to. I mean if a certain quad floats your boat and suits your rideing style that's all that counts.

Hmmm, think I've been saying that since I signed onto this forum. Ride what you like, we all have fave's...just join a club and protect your rights!!!!! That's the important stuff.

Hmm. Definitely agree here! I think once I'm back down to one job, we may look into joining a club. Right now I would be as vacant as I have been in my Volunteer Fire Dept.

Hey 727 banshee i couldn't agree with you more I am so sick of people talking smack on different kinds of four wheelers that i could puke!!!! If it puts a strum in your drum then give it some thumb and ride. Just a quote from a mag i read the new kvf 700 will do over 100 mph with minimal mods. (thats impressive i must say) and in 2004 there gonna put that engine back into the prairie. (thats scary, i know it won't do 100 mph but it's still gonna haul A$$, and its a 600 plus pound machine... can every one say life insurance lol

I was pretty excited when I first heard about the kfx700, but when I heard it weighed 506 lbs, had very little suspension travel in the rear, and only 47 hp @ the crank, I'm not to excited anymore. I find it funny that people consider this a sport quad, but the Scrambler 2x4 is not?? I would much rather have a Scrambler with lots of suspension travel, and add a pipe to have the same amount of power, on a lighter machine.

It's all about torque, it should pull you off the handle bars!
