Before i got my predator in late november, i talked to a factory guy that had riden at Sand Mountain Nevada the week before. He said that he had 2 identical pred's there and that 10 paddle straights worked the best by far.. has anyone tried V's verses straights on thier predator? and how about 10 paddles? I'm gonna order, and need some help! thanks

I have Gecko's, been to Glamis 3 times on them, a little rigid the first couple of times, seem to be softening up though, run with 2 pounds, haven't lost to a Raptor yet ( haven't raced a real moded one though, just pipe/jet kit/air box ), and beet a Z400 last Sat. I like them.

Now, I don't have a predator, but I do have Gecko's on my 400EX, and I don't like them very much. They are good for straight line drags, but aren't the best hill-climbing tire. Most people that I know who have had them, or who have tried them out, end up buying some Haulers. That will be my next purchase. But, the Geckos are good for play riding, which is what 90% of us do. If you're not drag racing or climbing the big hills, they are fine. They are kind of the "middle of the road" tire.....better than sand sharks and dune hoppers, but not as good as Sand Skate II's or Haulers.
