Default Titan 589s

Is the Titan 589 and the ITP 589 the same tire? Will the 589 in a 28-9 fit okay on the front of a 700 using the stock rim?

Yup, they are the same tire. ITP purchased the Titan line molds and are producing the same tire. They are awesome tires and if I am not mistaken, they will fit as you mentioned above. If not, the highlifter kit will take care of that fairly inexpensively. (plus it adds a lot to the height and looks of the bike.) These tires are mean! I used to run Vamps but after the switch to 589s, I will never look back. Much smoother ride than most of the aggressive mud tires.
