Default Throttle ECT adjustment??

I completley unscrewed and removed the idle adjustment screw from the carb on my SP700 , and now I can't get it to idle correctly after I reinstalled it. It will idle to high, or just stall, no in between.

Someone mentioned that I need to adjust the throttle ECT because I removed the adjustment screw. Can anyone confirm this, and if yes, tell me how to do this?

Thanks.

John

Default Throttle ECT adjustment??

Take the cover off the throttle box on the handlebar. If you look closely, you will see two electrical contacts. Tighten the throttle cable at the splice by the throttle box (slide the cover back where the bulge is and you will find it) so that the contacts are NOT touching, but not so tight that the throttle opens when you turn the handlebars.

Thank you for the instructions.

I performed the adjustment, and it solved my problem.
