I 've read an article somewere (tec tips?) saying all water cooled machines should not, repeat not,use auto antifreeze in their bikes.Honda has know about this for years with Goldwing radiator and waterpump failure.Ask your Polaris dealer if they have received a mechanics update on this subject.Good luck!!

Bill, what do they say to run? If it is just water, what do you do about freezing temps? Highlifter sell "Water Wetter" that is supposed to cool the water temp by 20 degrees, but I don't know anyone using it. Someone else posted that in their high performance ATV engine, they had added a small portion of dishwashing liquid that acted as a surfactact.

I just re-read the article in tec-tips...in left collumn on startup page..
4 main points
1. use purified water.
2.use a NON SILICATE collant ,,recomended..pro-Honda hp. coolant..silicates were the main enemy!!!!
3.Never exceed a 50/50 concentration.
4.Change every 2 years
Hope this helps...good article ....everyone with water cooling should read...
Have a nice Easter,...Bill
