My whole point behind buying American is to support the American economy and the American worker. No, our technology is not always the best. Our equipment isn't always either. Some of our workers ain't worth a dang either. BUT, if we continue to support foreign economies with the goods we buy, there won't be any American workers. Yes, it is increasingly difficult to buy all American. But...gotta start somewhere. I'll start with the FIVE Polaris that we own. Who's next?

I read somewhere that around 900,000 Atv's were sold last year. Let's say half of them were foreign. 450,000 times $6000.00= 2,700,000,000, think of how that money could have stimulated a weak economy.

 

I've always been a "buy American" kind of guy, but you really got me thinking so I started counting. Now own 2 Chevy trucks, #12 and #13, looking for #14 now. My whole family drives American cars, mostly Chevy with a few Fords, a Dodge, and a couple Jeeps. We're on our 3rd and 4th Polaris, I have two American lawnmowers, 2 trailers made in USA, Mom drives a Saturn. That's all I can think of right now. Anyway, if I have a choice I always go with American made. Sometimes it's hard to tell, though. Chevy Avalanches are all made in Mexico, while Honda Accords are made here. Oh, by the way, have you heard that they are going to allow Toyota into NASCAR? Yep, they will be joining the NASCAR Craftsman Truck division next year, with the Tundra. Who'd have thought that would ever happen. I wonder how long til we see Camrys in the Daytona 500?

 

I'd like to get a barge and put the Statue of Liberty on it and slowly set it adrift towards France. Of course the the torch would be removed leaving just one extended finger and the tablet would say "Thanks for Nothing" Viva la P*ssies!

alternate fuel vehicles. what is General Motors/Ford/Chrysler working hard at to save the environment? i'll tell-ya...NOTHING!

both Honda and Toyota are kicking-*** with their hard work. their cars are kinda funny look'in, but at leats they are making an EFFORT!

HELL, even the Civic @ 40MPG kicks-***! what does a Geo/Sunfire/Escort/Cirus/Vibe get? 30-34MPG?....that's not much to brag about if u ask me!

now don't be quick to jump all over me.....of all the cars i've bought in my lifetime only one has been somewhat foreign.('03 Pontiac Vibe- joint venture with Toyota) all the others were domestics....and yes i'm damn proud of it to!

i really have no idea where i'm going with this.................i guess............well.............hmmmmmmmmm.

anyways, i have owned Polaris ATVs since '95. they ALL have been TERRIFIC. i REALLY enjoy buying American...it feels DAMN GOOD!
