Simple Electrical question

Default Simple Electrical question

Sorry for the delayed response NC. I've ensured all wiring and inline fuse are rated for 15A (max compressor requirement). As for the wiring at the solenoid, the outlet's power wire (now fused) is attached to the "ignition switched" terminial on my WARN A2000 <u>soleniod</u>. So, if the key is in the off position, no power to the aux outlet. Same idea as the winch itself. It is working great after testing the compressor using the new aux outlet. After getting stranded 5 minutes from home , I now carry all the goodies to fix a FLAT... Doah!

Sounds like you done evrything ok. I can't blame you for wanting to have that extra protection with you.
