sweet thanks for all the great iinfo, uhhh how exactly do i tell if its too lean or too rich, sorry im not an expert at this, like i say i know my quad but im not familiar with carb settings and all that good stuff.

Hey Hazard, here are some really good links on jetting. An easy way to tell if you are to rich or lean is to flip on the choke at the suspected throttle range. If it gets better then it is lean, if it runs worse it is rich. Of course the best method is to check your plugs. Read these links very carefully, print them, keep them, it is good info and will be of benefit to you. Tuning Carbs. Hope this helps you understand tuning.
