Help deciding which quad to buy?!
#11
I would agree with most of what MEGACRASH said also, other than the neck and neck part with a Raptor. I ran against a Raptor that was geared, piped and K&N, and as I shifted into 3rd, it was all over. The Z is a very nice quad, doesn't handle quite as well as the Predator, and to be honest, with it breaking frames where the front shocks mount, I wouldn't buy one. Frames aren't even being replaced, jsut re-welded, which makes it weaker. I just can't imagine flyin over a good jump and having the shock break right off the frame, that wouldn't feel very well.
With the power, width, handling, power, suspension, power (oops, said that a couple times) and the add ons that most people will put on anyway - stronger axle, braided brake lines, performance shocks (rear with remote rezy, front available as add on) PRO steering - just to name a few. Like someone said, bang for the buck, it can't be beat. Reliability an issue? Don't know yet, but I have over 20 hours on mine, 3 oil changes, and haven't had a single problem with mine. It's not a Honda, but Honda is like a Banshee, hasn't been changed in like forever, so it's about time all the bugs were worked out of them.

subaru, be sure to get the most out of it, and get the rezzies, front suspension needs it if you are going to pound it hard. Handling is more important than power, if you can't handle the quad, the power won't help you.
