I'm just wondering what oil you run, why, injection or pre-mix (what ratio) and what the cost is?

I run the Polaris Premium Gold stuff. My dealer
in Cullman, Al has it for $24.95 a gallon. While my dealer in Decatur has it for $44.95 a gallon. Someone likes a fat pocket book, hey? Anyways I had a Trail Boss that I ran the Blue Polaris oil in it before my Xplorer, and the Xplorer performs so much better and sure doesn't smoke as much or stink as bad. The smoke is probably reduced by 70 percent comared to the Blue oil after it Warms up.

Another thing is that my Trail Boss came with a tag on it that said that it had been filled with Polaris Premium Gold injection oil. I look into the Oil tank and to my suprise-- there was the Blue oil. I never could get all of that blue crap out of its system.

I have always used the Polaris Premium Gold oil.
It really burns clean and does help with the power. Cost= $23.00/Gal.

Hey Xplorer4x4,
If you read that tag real close it says that your new Polaris has been PRIMED with Polaris gold oil, Not filled up with it!
All of these cheap *** dealers would not do that!
Hell it would cost them about $10 to fill each bike with just oil! Whereas the regular oil cost them about $3.

Take it Light.
