Rivet Remover

Default Rivet Remover

All right you nuts!! [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-happy.gif[/img] Drill the top of the rivet with a bit the same size, or slightly smaller than the hole it's mounted in. Normally drill down the depth of the head. Then take a punch that's about the same size as the drill bit. Insert it in the hole, and snap off the head. Then take a hammer with the same punch and drive the remaining material down through the hole. If your punch doesn't grab the head and snap it off, then you have to drill down just a bit more. Tomorrow night we'll go over vacuum bagging carbon fiber. hehe
