steering post problems

I did the same thing,i watched e-bay for a while but there were none.So i bought a new one from Partsland.com about $110,and would'nt you know it there was one the next couple day's that sold for about $30.Hotseat makes a chromolly unit but it's a little too much.Hope this helps .Later.

They straightened mine using a press at the Polaris shop $10 - its perfect. The weldment that holds the top support needed to be straightened and welded back to the frame also. Not a big deal - lots of plastic removal but the bracket wasn't anything that a come-along and telephone pole wouldnt fix.

I thought when I bent mine the dealer told me it was like $90 for a new one??? Mine was a 400, but I would think it's the same.
Either way I took mine off and a friend straightend it for me and stuck a piece of steel in the middle of it. Wouldn't have to worry about it bending again...I'd much rather replace the handlebars than the stearing post.
