as far i'm concerned i did not say to stay away from that shop, and go to hpd or hot seat, but the bike is out for what 6 months,a big bore kit is a major task for an engine upgrade and i think it need a lot of testing done with the stock bore before going further,it can hold that hp rating but at what expand??..we all known.....
that why specialist shop for polaris have my money.

The mod has never been on a flowbench? Holy cow, that's the number one source for judging capabilities of a component. One other note, ask Gary to put a K&N filter on the dyno pull he compares to his airflow kit....just curious what the HP #'s would be. Then again would also be nice to have some flowbench numbers to verify the modification. Never install something that can possibly come loose downstream from the aircleaner. Your air filter is your safety net, and not just from dirt.
Hey Heapster, I just want the bandcamp lady. Staying respectful with terminology.
Another suggestion, along with my earlier airforce mod idea, the shoulders of the riv-nuts will slightly space the aluminum away from the airbox. You may find it necessary to add a silicon bead to aid in sealing.

Look I know how to jet bikes and I know that I was not hitting my rev limiter. It started poping in the middle of the power band when I closed off the af air ports it got worse. So then I knew it was rich went to a 160m and it ran good all day at glamis. But to even sell a kit that has bolts that could come off and in the motor is dumm. but then I put it on so thats my fault.and for super bike I did not say there a bad shop just do not like some of there stuff. Dont check in for a day and man this thing is 4 pages long. Wanting to clear something up here. This is what was originally posted on ESuper bike by JCAL :
[[thanks for asking. heres the story, i installed the air force kit, with the lock tight on the bolts buti guess not enough. one of the nuts let loose, down the hatch, into the combustion chamber bounced around only once, b/c there is only one dent in the piston and one dent in the cylinder head. then because the size of the nut it would not clear the valve and wedged it open hence the "seized motor" i thought i had. so i think ok, paid the dealer cash for the machine, bought the five year warranty from him, the bumper, nerfs, oil and everything else i could of needed. so i think i'm covered, right? no, nope, no way. "we are an honest shop, we don't bend the rules. if we did that it would be fraud and we don't do that. oh by the way it's going to be 1400 to fix so sign here. oh yeah, i can get it back to you in august, the parts are on back order" no thanks i'll be back with my trailer to pick it up tommorrow. i understand that it was all my fault, but they get paid regardless. i even offered them a couple of hundred to cover it, but they still said no. so that is the last time i go there. so after it happened, i called gary up just to let him know what happened he called them dicks a to make a long story short i'm shipping the motor to gary tommorrow. i'd rather give my money to him any day of the week. so i think the shop i could of covered it if they wanted to but that is the way they do buisness so whatever. moral of the story, always check those bolts before you ride. again, thanks for asking. i was going to post tonite, i went to vegas for a couple of days. so that is my sad *** story ]]
Now everyone can interpret it for themselves. I know I posted my feeling on the board about them calling the dealer dicks and a couple of pack boys went nuts. JCAL you even stated in a reply back to me that the dealer should have covered it. Why are you changing you opinion now? You act like only reason you are not taking it to the dealer is because of parts but before warranty and money were sure the issue. My gut tells me you wish you would of kept your mouth shut and maybe Gary would have taken care of you but it is out in the open now and I am sure Polaris is aware of your motor and what really happened to it.
