It looks sweet, but cripes. For a full system it's not creating a huge gain in numbers. HMF's slip-on shows the same or better numburs in the low end and the same top end as compared to the yosh. full system. Save the $800 or whatever it will cost and spend $230 on slip-on, $75 to jet coat the head pipe, and walla, a kick a$$ system with = numbers for less than half the cost. My .02 I guess, but the looking at the dyno, the numbers for the yosh don't justify the cost!!

Yep too much, Aaen claims 7hp with their pipe and it is $250.00, heck you could get the exhaust and big bore kit for the Pred. from Aaen and get 12 more hp. for what the Yoshimura pipe costs.

Ya i think its around $450 or so for the comp series pipe. I called and i think thats what they said. Its gonna be more for the Pro series exhaust...thats like 800! Does the HMF pipe have a USFS spark arrester? I didnt know and was wonderin. And does it have a quiet core or something to bring the db's down when needed? Thanks

When I talked to HMF, the told me that it comes with a screen type spark arrestor that is still awaiting USFS approval, but should pass no problem they said. And for $35 they have a quiet core insert that drops the db to 91...pretty cool huh? And they also say the quiet core allows you to keep 95% of the power the silencer provides, so only a 5% loss by putting in the quiet core....well worth it in my book. They also have some good numbers with just a jet change and no airbox mods, which Iwould like to keep the airbox stock to keep the mud and water out. I'm thinking about getting this muffler, but still waiting just a little longer to see if HPD pulls a rabbit out of the hat!!

i bought a high flow intake from fst that really works you cut a 2 1/4 hole in the back of your airbox and just above the brake light you cut a 2 1/2 hole and run your pipe up inside and then silicone around the air box for a water tight seal it looks trick and costs around 25.00 and is well worth it

I have the Big Gun system and love it. Added power throughout the entire rpm range. It kicks butt. Easy install, jetted up from a 150 to a 155 and put a K & N in the airbox. No popping or any other problems. I would recommend it to anyone.
