Default scrambler wish list: springs, shocks & steering dampener

now that i have my 02 scr400's drivetrain setup its time pour some dough into the suspension & steering.
I'm a 200lb guy and the front is very stiff, where is the problem? struts, spring or bolth? also after getting the new wheels at +1 offset bump steer is out of control! what is a good steering dampener to purchase?
Looking forward to comments... thanks in advance!

Look to HotSeatPerformance for your chasis upgrades. I have heard god things about the suspension mods that they sell.

I have a set of used Works struts and the Hot Seat dual rate spring set up for sale. I sold my Sport and bought a Predator so I don't need them anymore. List on struts is $239 and spring kit is $169 (front only), they didn't have the rear springs for my "99. I will sell the whole works for $350 shipped. Hpd has a nice dampner for $139.95. I don't have a used one but I can send one with for the $139.95 extra.
