I just purchased a 00 SCRAMBLER 500 this past weekend. LOVE IT no problems as of yet found it to be fast and as everyone has mentioned, heavy. My buddy also purchased a sp335 (for a female cousin) we found the SP335 to be outclassed and very sluggish. Although the rear ind suspension was great just not enough power. He himself owns a 99 mag500 it will be interesting to see how that performs w/ the scr500. The only complaint I have for the Scr500 is MUD!!!!!!! If you plan to go in mud ......expect to get completely covered!!!!The fenders do nothing..If anyone has heard of a solution pass it on. All in all I am happymwith the scr 500.

I have a 2000 Scrambler400 and I too love it! As for mud get the mud-skirt kits from the dealer. They will keep half the mud off you. It's funny because going through the smallest puddles there is always a little spray of mud/water that gets on the rider! It's fast! Definately the fastest in my riding group. I am getting some mods done to add to low end torque and midrange to make it a better crawler and mudder! Getting it back tomorrow. I also find it's very stable compared to utility quads. I love it so far...but I have the best of both worlds: Scram400 and Xplor400! When I want a more luxurious ride I swipe my wife's Xplorer and when I want to get agressive I give it back and pull out the Scram!!!!

I've got two, a 99 and a 00.

Nothing but love here. Funny how the entire list of owners here LOVE their machines...the most negative comments come from aa Honda guy...tellin' you about a buddy of his.

If there was ANY quad out there that I would prefer, I would add it to my stable. Nothin out there that I would prefer yet!

I'm a Honda guy (Foreman 400) but I'm also a SC500 guy, I love my Scrambler. Wouldn't trade it for anything else out there!!!!! I just need to figure out how to raise that darn swing arm skid plate about an inch? Any ideas?

I have a 2000 SCRAMBLER 500 LOVE IT . It's a little heavy but the suspendtion makes up for it. Not to many atv's are as versitile as the SCRAMBLER 4X4'S .Have had no major problems. Ride with many other SCRAMBLERS that get hammered on big time. They just keep on going. Ordered new roller clutch, clutch kit , and K&N filter . Hope to have it on by this weekend!!!
