Default Stubborn Jugs

I am currently working on 700cc 2 stroke twin that is seized up.(Wetjet 700 jet ski) I had a polaris seize on me the jug slid right off. My question is how to remove these dang jugs w/o tearing up anything else? The things don't respond to gentle taps w/ a rubber hammer.

Default Stubborn Jugs

My wife can be stubborn with her jugs too. Oh wait, I just realized we were talking about a jet ski!

Anyway, try a shot hammer. They make them out of plastic and they have shot (some sort of heavy powder) in side of them. When you swing a little bit, the shot moves with you and adds a little more power to your swing. But the plastic on the outside keeps you from marring things up. Keep tapping all the way around the outside edges. Stay low near the gasket and watch out for any cooling fins (they break pretty easily from my experience!). Also, hold on or have a friend hold on to the jug while you are hitting it so if it suddenly does break loose, it won't move much and cause damage. If it gets to the point where you are just plain afraid to hit any harder, try heating them up with a torch and hitting them again. They have to come off somehow.
