Well hey I wanna say thanks for your opinons and info, but I ended up getting a 2002 brand new Lakota and I LOVE IT!

Now i had alot of seat time on the 250ex and I liked it alot (Almost got it) but ounce I sat on my kota.. I loved it, Its a little bigger, stronger, and faster(still breakin it in tho) and the onlythin the ex can do it wheelie a little better. I am happy It feels alot better than the ex and in my opinion the z 250 also.

I dont agree witht he magazines at all I killed a 300ex before with my z50, but thats only casue he was a new rider but i smoked differ riders on the 250ex i love finding that 20ex out on a trail and rev im on to rave a real machine, the onda is only great for realiablity if you wanna get real i would go witht he z it is a great atv in every differ terrain..

Old form but i was looking through everything on here today and saw this, first off lakota is faster than both 250ex and z250. The z250 stays right with the lakota but it's still a hair or two faster. Also it's cake to wheelie the lakota i can wheelie in 1,2,3,4 gear and ride em for along time, yeah it's hard because how heavy it is but with the right parts and if you know what your doing it's easy. Good choice BigChris and sweet ride, love the decals.
