HA2, scroll up and read the original post again. He said he wanted to absolutely smoke his dad. Nuff said? Ok then.
Banshee's aren't that bad for reliability. Granted thumpers generally have a lot less problems as long as you take care of a shee it will serve you well. Personally I would prefer a different bike but if you have limited money and want to make a fast ride you can't beat the shee.

Oh, and if you want to stay away from the 2 strokes heed Pushins advice. Most of the bigger 4 strokes can take a 250R. One of the guys I ride with has a mild 250R and my Rappy with just a pipe and K&N can pull it without much trouble.

i dont have to read the original post, a 450 yami WILL absolutely smoke a stock 250r quad. i own a R trike and have friends with near stock 250R quads and I am completely comfortable saying that.

HA2, I would love to get a pic of that monster 800cc bore cylinder And yes, as treeshot said a Banshee is not unreliable. Most guys make them so blindly fast that there has to be a lot of maintenence to keep them going. But a 4.9 in 300ft reliable bike does not cost much to build and will last a long time if done right.Bubba

Evidentally I wasn't clear enough.
This is what I was refering to when I said check the original post. Didn't have anything to do with what you said about the 450.

ummm maybe YOU should read the original post. He said and I quote, "and I want something stock that can absolutely smoke my dad."
i dont think buying a banshee and hanging a bunch of aftermarket crap classifies as stock.
