Given your next statement a bit of an a$$hole!! What exactly do you get from bashing other's machines? You ever think that maybe, just maybe, someone might not want an all out racer? My Warrior with it's "peashooter 20hp" is plenty of fast for me, so to hell and back with you and your superior attitude.

I hope you're joking??? If you think the paltry warrior is fast, try any of the "new" fourstrokes. The 6 speed in the warrior works good, it needs gears spaced close together for its peashooter 20 hp to accelerate its considerable weight.

By the way, I usually do start in second gear. It's the only way to get the holeshot.
I agree with that .. and my original post was NOT intended to call you and idiot .. as you have read I corrected myself in getting that you were talking about the bike being a 4-speed, not the quad. People in the forum often interchange YFZ and YZF for the new 450 quad which was what prompted my question to begin with.

Default how come no more six speeds?

i think the reason why is because the piston can only go so fast and when it gets too a limit the motor can only hold so long and then things will start breaking and flying apart

errrr.... what you're describing is the reason a rev limiter is installed/programmed on the engine's ignition.
