Default popping the clutch???

Ok guys, a real stupid question that seems to have no answer but that of experience that I lack, so I ask you in the 6th paragraph down of this http://dirtwheelsmag.com/detail.asp?id=63 , what do they mean popping the clutch when coming out of a power slide? You’re on the gas during a power slide so how can u pop the clutch if it’s already engaged? Someone please help me out here cuzz this has come up many times where I here "just pop the clutch" when already on the gas. However im not referring to those times just this one and if your not sure what im talking about read the 6th paragraph and find out for your self. I would appreciate the correct answer to this, not just some guess, cuzz lets face it even I could do that but it would probably be wrong, exactly why i would not like a guess. thank you for any answers to come
sorry, u have to copy and paist the link

Default popping the clutch???

Popping the clutch means to quickly pull the clutch in (engage it) and then quickly let it go (disengage)---almost a flick of the clutch lever.....what happens is this:

You're on the throttle and the engine is pulling (power to rear wheels), you pull in the clutch which allows the engine to rev without adding any power to the rear wheels, when you let the clutch lever go it allows the engine to put a large amount of power to the rear wheels all of a sudden....thus producing a wheelie.

Default popping the clutch???

pulling in the lever engages the clutch and letting go disengages the clutch. pulling the lever disengages the motor from putting power to the ground.

Default popping the clutch???

yes, when the clutch pltes are spread apart, power is no longer getting to tha rear wheels but when the plates make contct, power is regained to the rear wheels so when the plates are together, the clutch is DISENGAGED
