They are working on that around here and the legislation has been passed to allow atv's on roads. But our community hasen't put it into effect yet.

Quads can be set up to be street legal in California, but, it will cost you $$$$. You need to put all required equipment to make it street legal. But it can be done.

depends where u live, and soemtimes yes but no. like yes but to much work and it would loose its real purpose(jsut say).

For most of you guys on the East Coast, or in CA, this is true. There are quite a few states (for example Arizona) where you can have an offroad quad with just some basic add-on hardware such as a mirror and horn. You don't even need turn signals. Only other things you need are a license, registration, and insurance.
