I'm not saying all Pred owners talk like that. But there are some on here that just talk out their rear-end for the point of posting alone. I have seen some really stupid posts about Pred's and how they beat down everything regardless of what the Pred has, or the other quad.

I haven't ever run a timed 1/4 mile or 1/8th. But if your all stock Pred can run that time, then I'm sure a piped Raptor can run that time. There is no way(other then rider) that a stock Pred will beat a piped Raptor. And I will be at Texas this summer. So your more then welcome to show me your Pred, and we'll even take a couple runs if you want to.

Your mod's are...

So far I only have a CDI box but I hope to have a pipe and maybe nos by June 18. Don't be so sure a stock/piped Raptor runs 8.9 after all this is the WWW and ther are far more Raptor owners than Preds and so far no one claimed to run it with a stock or piped one. I'm not saying anyone could not but I have ran 5 Raptors all piped, jetted new and used and the closest was .5 behind.

I'll be more then happy to you run at Aledo if you get the chance to come. Nos or Nos. I think it would be fun to get to run a timed 1/8th. With just a pipe I ran a 5.7 in 300ft on dirt. The fastest stock pred ran a 6.09 which is about what all stock Raptors, Predator's, V Forces and such run around here.

BTW, a stock YFZ450 ran a 5.9 which is a good time for stock. I'm guessing I'll be around 5.0 with the current set up.

The Nicholas Cycle website is pretty cool. Seems like they got good products for the Predator.

On my time slip I cover 330 ft in 5.689 of course that is asphalt so with enough traction 300 ft in dirt should be @ that. Just a thought maybe or maybe not.

I dont know about dirt times, I assume they hook up better than sand so better times. My best sand 300' time was around 6.2 with a pipe and paddles. No preds have shown up at my track to race, I only see them at the dunes and on the ice.

It is pretty cool....and its set up nice, atleast a lot better than their old one....Doug is the man when it comes to the pred, and polaris all together....Like I said all along, if you want a fast pred, talk to him......and if you want to see a fast pred, talk to him too

With just a rev box you won't run a 5.6 or under on your pred in a 300ft dirt drag. Even add a pipe and you will struggle to run a 5.6 on a dirt drag in 300ft. 5.6 is fast to not have enternal engine mod's.
