Detroit Area Anyone???

I'm looking possibly to get some headwork done and maybe have my Z400 bored to a 440. I'm very mechanically inclined but done have the tools or knowledge to properly do a port and polish job or bore cylinders. I was wondering how reliable these kits are. Any help out here guys? I have got a number of mods on my Z currently but you just get enough. Thanks

I know a guy that is very good in cylinder and head work, does all of our work on outboards and inboards.
I will get ahold of him and see if he is still into working on quads. I know he does alot of work on PWC so he probably is still into the smaller 4-strokes as well. His cost might be high, but he does an excellent quality of work.
