if i were you i would get pro armor skids. i have them on my 250ex and i ride alot of rocky trails and they never let me down. the mounting always hooks up great and they are very strong. if you go onto www.rockymountainmc.com you can look to see if they are what u want.

Depends on the product... be warned i had DG nerf bars on my old quad and all the hardware WILL rust...
clearcoat the brackets if you go with DG
I have a z400 and went with ProArmor nerf bars (pretty new company)
i am extremly happy with them, you'll have to bend all nerf bars a little the metal loses a little shape when welded.
the way the pro armor bars mount are the best i've seen, no U-bolts! real rigid
however i think they just make products for the z/kfx 400.
time will tell how well they hold up.

I'll never buy anything from DG again if I can help it. My bumper and skidplates didn't fit at all. I had to drill out the holes on the skid plate so they would fit and for the bumper I had to use a vice to spread the mounts apart so they would fit on the frame. Also the finish on the bumper was very poor, it came from the factory all scratched and had a few small dings in it from the maching process. Not the quality I was expecting at all.
