Default How to install a K&N jet kit on the mojave? is it hard???

can anyone tell me the details of installing a K&N jet kit and how to set it to ur fuel is running perfect??

PLZZ HELP!!

To put the filter in you will have to take off cover and cut all the little tabsoff for the filter and pre filter to fit.You have to find out you elevation to find out wha jet size you need.It also will depend on whether you keep stock pipe.The directions will help somewhat.It should give you elevations and what jet size is comprobile.It should also tell you what clip position.Then you will have to turn fuel air mixture screw 1 and 1|2 turns out from closed position.It takes some fooling around to get perfect.

It is not hard at all it should come with directions. you should have a service manual too.. if not pick one up its really helpful.

I agree with whats been said, after you figure out the elevation you will be riding in, follow the directions the kit came with and you will be fine. Lt.Dan
