blaster question----help!!!!

Default blaster question----help!!!!

i have a 98 blaster i recently bought a keihen 28mm carb to replace the stock one on it----also i just ordered a fmf fatty pipe to replace stock one.--------question is is it diffacult to make these mods??? what is involved in the carb change?????????

Default blaster question----help!!!!

It's easy to make the mods. With the carb change you need to remove the over rev shut off switch.

The stock carb on the blaster has a built in switch that will shut down the motor if the throttle sticks. This is a biult in safety feature (for morons). If you look at the stock blaster carb you will what looks like a metal block with wires coming out of the top of it. These go to a switch in the controls on the bars. This has to be removed and the wires connected and tied off for the quad to run.
