man yall are crazy, dont yall know that the raptor is mainly a trail quad and that is what it is known for, being 1 of the best trail four wheelers

I think a raptor is a better quad than a 400ex. It has way more power, and nicer suspension. Its great for trails,mx, etc. I have raced a 400ex before and it had alot of modifications and it wasnt even a close race. If you ask me if a 400ex or a Raptor is better i definitly would say the raptor.

 

No doubt you will be happy with your 400ex, Honda makes great atvs. Here in AZ though, liquid cooled is the way to go. 450R is liquid cooled but no reverse and is made for racing. They even made the 400ex look better and added reverse, but you really should have liquid cooled for the hot deserts. These high reving machines need to stay cool!

 

i used to think liquid cooling was the way of the world, but any air cooled bike i have ridden has yet to leave me stranded, or be down on power.

400ex! good choice.
