I sold my z400 last summer for a vinson. I did that to ride with people from work. I have two quadracers but I want a 4stroke sport quad again for my need for speed. I liked the Z but I would like to get something with more muscle. I have rode raptors and really like the in your face power. I dont really want the yfz 450 because I want reverse. I have it down to the raptor or the predator. Has anyone got the 05 predator and does it have that in your face power like the raptor? I like how you can lift the front end on the raptor. What hpand torque does the predator make with a pipe and jetts compared to the raptor? Any info would help out alot.

 

According to a Dirt Wheels trail ride shoot-out i read in the trails and wut not the Polaris Predator TROY LEE edition is better then a Raptor for trail riding. But they said the jump from 4th to 5th gear there was a pretty good gap (Pred). They also stated that the Raptor just needs an aftermarket exhaust and wider front and back and it'd be right up there with the Pred. They also stated that the Predator's suspension on the Troy Lee edition had fully adjustable racing shocks front and back. Both the raptor and Troy Lee had same MSRP. The shoot-out i'm referring to is in the January 05 edition. I'm not saying Dirt Wheels is correct but i'm pretty sure they probably know wut they're talkin' 'bout. I dun know if this even helps you out one bit i'm prob just b/sin' here or some **** but i hope it helps

 

Maybe just wait a little longer for the z450.
