In the ATV drag races Ive been to the 450 consistently beat the Predators by at least 3 quad lengths in the stock 400cc-500cc class. At the ones I go to they race 300 feet though.

LOL, 100 yds = 300ft .....u know it might come down to traction, where they were racing the sand was real loose, maybe in a tighter envirement the yfz does better,dunno

 

If you have 2 stock mach. the pred will stand out more. but the problem is you can dump alot of money into a pred and not see big changes and it weighs a ton. I have a tricked out YFZ and have freinds that ride pred trx450 raptors. We ride at the big dunes (Chokecherry) and the only quad that even touches mine is a tricked out banshee with 100+Hp. It all depends on the mods and the riding conditions. He with the most money goes the fastest..............

 

wet weight the pred weighs a few pounds less than a Raptor. and your right about dumping alot of money in and seeing not alot of changes, but a pred with all the mods against all the others with all the mods its the fastest, problem is, you need all the mods, AND no one has that much money, [img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-tongue.gif[/img]

 

everyone in here is stupid predators cant beat a yfz450 my god and it wouldnt even touch my 660 raptor so polaris can suck on co*k for all i care they jus have good work quads with the sportsman 800 that is all i have to say goodbye

well this one time at band camp....my honda odyssey beat my friends VW bug. but once he put dual exhaust and jetted the hell out of it....that bug couldn't keep rubber on the rims long enough for us to race! but stock for stock i totally whipped his butt. enough already! this whole thread is full of the smell of BS and buttsweat.

This site must be mostly kids because we're all acting like freakin 12 year olds. They are all fun to ride and not one of us on here would turn down any of these bikes so stop damn arguing.
