Batterys dead i think?

Default Batterys dead i think?

ok so i think my battery is dead...can you charge a quad battery with a regular car battery charger.

You dont want to charge with alot of amps. They recommend a trickle charger. which charges at .5 amps, and at most a 2 amp charge.

how many volts/amps are quad batterys i never had an electric starting quad and the stickers on it are all gone

Almost all modern systems are 12 volt. It could be 6 volt if its an older quad.
What quad do you have?
Heres a good article on care and chargeing a battery for motorcycles, and quads. They recommend charging at 1/10 th the rated capacity, but not to excede 2 amps.

Like he said,it's best to use a trickle charger.

Yep, thats a 12 volt. They make trickle chargers for 12 volts, or you can buy a battery tender, which will charge it and when youre not riding it, it can be left hooked up and it will keep the battery topped off automaticly.
