how much do lt250`s go for? i have seen some here for around 3000 is that about the right price range for them?

around here a nice one can be had for under $2000,as low as $1000

For 3K it had better be either a Zilla, or totally worked. Clean ones in my area are asking around 2, but many go for around $1500.00.

hmm wonder why they are so expensive here. maybe because its canadian dollars not american?
do you know how much the LT250 weighs? and how many horsepower they have?

OK, I didn't see you were up in Manitoba. That would account for the difference in price. Claimed dry weight on the '85/6 models was 293lbs. The '87 and up are faster/more powerful, plus they have a 6 speed tranny[img]i/expressions/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img] I don't remember their claimed dry weight off the top of my head, but it was just north of 300lbs. These quads have been hashed over quite a bit on this forum, if you try a search you will find at least a few hours of reading material I would think. HP wise it is all on how much money you want to spend. The motors can be made very competitive with the current 450's, although the chassis isn't as capable handling wise. Not that they handle poorly by any means. The TRX250R will handle on par, but tend to be more $$ to purchase.
