muhahaha, time to open a can of worms, my friend plans on purchasing a 2005 blaster. who do you think will win in a drag, a track, and anyother competion around, keep in mind both wil be stock for a little while at least.

 

People that like blasters will say they will win all-around, people with 300's will say they win all around.

I'm unbiased though, i'm not a big fan of either of those quads

It'll be a damn close race in a flat out drag race, the blaster might inch it out a couple mph's on the top

On a track, I'm going with the 300. The shocks are better, and they have a longer wheelbase and corner better too.\

But these quads are very closely matched. Whoever wins will win because they're a better rider, not because their quad is faster.

well i have ridden bolth and i think there both good quads.on a track the 300 might have it in the corners but the blaster will have it out of them....more accelaration.but it will definitly come down to the rider on that race.

 

That is the best answer I've ever heard for this queston.

 

My kids got a 01 blaster and my sister has a 01 300ex, Both are good quads,the blaster has a little more power and should win a drag race. But on a trail or track I think they would be pretty much equal. I think the Honda is a better built quad,but it does cost alot more. But it also didnt need any mods, our blaster has/had the terrible brakes(the new ones have fixed this problem) It now has a 400 ex Brake on the rear and weve got Trenga Racings grooved Kevlar shoes in front. Im looking for front discs,no luck yet. We also installed a Honda 450r shock in the rear. Any suggestions on front shocks? (besides works or such. im poor) Are banshee fronts better? Ive heard they fit. Plus the blaster is on its 2nd piston,which isnt bad for a 01,but the Honda 4 stroke wont have to rebuilt every few years. I guess you pay more up front(300ex) or pay as you go(blaster).
Is this the last year of the blaster? I dont think you will see it replaced, as far as price goes. Later

 

yea its the last year thats why they made the special edition one.no more 2steroke atvs being made in the next few years.....it sucks!!!!

nah, there's no clear cut winner, the blaster can hold it's own against the 300 in acceleration, and has a few mph on top
