I have owned both. My blaster had a full FMF exhaust and the 300ex was stock, however I took the baffle out of the exhaust on the 300. From what I remember about them, I would say the 300ex would be better all around. The drag would be close with mine...but a stock blaster wouldn't beat out a 300 from my experience...however it would be very close top speed. The 300 really needed a sixth gear. Otherwise I liked the 300ex better in all situations.

 

I have a 02 blaster stockand i beet my friends 350 raptor stock on the drag strip and i blew past my friend on the street he has a 300ex with a big gun pipe
