i've heard several 450 owners talking about having to rebuild their motors every couple of years. anybody done the 525 yet?

 

I can't believe there are any with enough hours out there to need a rebuild yet .......

And I know dozens of people with 450s and I don't know anyone who has rebuilt theirs every two years.

Unless you race hard-core I can't believe any of these new 4-strokes need a rebuild after two years under normal abuse...

 

Yea, that isnt true mine is an 05' YFZ 450 and it was rebuilt only once because I put a JE High Comp piston in it for more power
