ok, i just wanted to say that polaris did a great job with the outlaws. there is one for every kind of riding you do! trails you have the IRS, track you have the 450, and for the dunes you have the 525S. the only thing i see wrong is they could shave some more weight off.

anyone else feel this way?

I think they did a good job, I like the Fox Shocks and the look of the 09.

IMO they also neeed to add EFI as it makes life just that more fun/easy to ride! Dont get me wrong the 525 is a stellar engine but it could be even better I know I would be willing to pay the extra $$$$ for the ease of use!

Perfection is a high standard........

It would be better if they would just suck it up and make their own engines....... I'd be a lot more impressed..... But starting out with KTM genius and wrapping it up in a nice package seems IMO to fall a little short of "perfect" ...

knock off? yeah knock it right off the track maybe.

..hmm..efi. i dont know..some people prefer carbs. but i guess efi would be really nice.

they did make their own engine, the 500 used in the first outlaws and predators. i think that motor was awesome.

i like them using KTM motors. its no worse than arctic cat using suzuki motors.

Actually Polaris didn't make that 500 engine either....... I think it was Fuji Motors that made that.....

And AC is making their own engines now too..... they just built a huge new engine facility IIRC.
