Default Suzuki Ltr450 vs Honda trx450r Flat Track

Anyone have any thoughts on which of these two quads would be better in flat track racing? I race a Z400 and want to upgrade to a 450, but unsure which would be better for my kind of racing. Most of the reviews are only for MX style. Thanks for the feedback.

From pics Ive seen, it looks as if the YFZ 450 is the most popular among flat-trackers, but it looks as if more people use the TRX than the LTR for flat track racing

The Suzuki LTR450 Quad Racer is their fastest production quad that can be bought off the showroom race ready for flat/moto track. I have the LTR450 and it is very fast and if you know how to drive it it sticks to the track/trail like glue. Other than that is a matter of your Quad maker preference, I'm a Suzuki fan but that is because I own three of them.

Good luck in your choice.

The Zuk comes stock with the width you want for flattrack, while the Honda will need more $$ pumped into that area initially. Both have potent motors and plenty of hop up availability. All the 450s are quality, so it really may come down to things such as dealer, looks, comfort, price, cost to get race ready, etc.

all 450s are good, but if your goal is to mod it maybe checking into aftermarket part costs and availability?? goodluck!
