Cannondale....Do They Think We're Idiots?!?

Well, unlike other quad manufactures (Honda, Suzuki, Polaris and Kawasaki come to mind) at least Cannondale actually will build these machines. Cannondale hasn't reniged on a promise yet. I get so sick and tired about hearing about all of the rumors about the "NEW" sport quads from the above mentioned manufacturers, that if I hear another one, I'll laugh in their face. "Where are these so called "NEW" sport quads", you ask your dealer? "Oh, I don't know anything about them, you'll have to wait until after the fall trade show", replies the dealer. Yeah, right! This is the oldest trick in the book, and year after year you suckers fall for it! The truth hurts, doesn't it?
Forget about the rumors about a XR650R / CR450F powered quad, the rumors about the DRZ400 powered quad, an all new manual shift/clutched machine from Polaris, and the V-twin powered quad from Kawasaki. If it were going to happen, they would have announced it by now. These manufactures are in business to sell quads, not rumors. More than likely, Honda will use the old and tired XR600 motor (de-tuned of course), the DRZ Suzuki will be a dog (on par with the 400EX), Polaris will come out with their same old-heavy crap they always do, and Kawasaki will release a "new" Mojave with bold new graphics.
Rumors are free, quads make money!

Ya you have a point. At least cannondale will build those atvs. I remember a few months ago dirtwheels had a tiny article on the "upcoming" mojave 500. I've also heard yamaha will be dumping the banshee in favor of another big-bore 2-stroke sport. And what about the "new" suzuki high performance quad. Honda has a good chance of making the 650/450 powered quads. I think the 450 will just be a larger bore to the 400ex, not a completley different motor. I think harley will come out with a quad before those other projects come out.
