Are blaster pretty cheap to do mods? I only have a top speed of like 55 mph. I want more speed. What are the best inexpensive mods out there? I'm 13 years old what other quad would be even better for me? Im looking at a 300ex.

When i first got started with modding up my machines, everybody told me if you wanna play you gotta pay. As with every quad, you can go for the high dollar mods, or the little stuff that still helps. Since the blaster is a 2 stroke it will respond to mods a little better. Stuff like a reed spacer ($25), reeds ($30), degree key ($25), exhaust (anywhere between $220 and $350 depending on what you get) are all cheap stuff to do to get a decent gain. If you really want to go fast look into some internal motor work. But that stuff gets pricey. Nothings cheap if you really want to go fast. Getting a 300ex wouldnt be the answer to going fast. They handle a little better stock than a blaster but a blaster beats it in speed.

daredevil1 is right dude. the 300ex does handle better but the motor is not strong at all. plus 2-strokes respond to mods way better than 4-strokes.

yamablaster,
If all you are looking for is more speed try a 14T front sprocket. Also bigger tires help with a higher gear ratio.
