mojave03, i think your forgetting that a 300ex is a 282 and not a true 300, if it were, it would kick azz. and ignoranceking, i dont think ive ever heard of him, sorry.

ive seen a guy go throu 6 moters on a majove and is a 1992 he got really hear on a corner hit a stump it throu him into a tree then the bike smashed him againsed the tree oooooooooow it was bad he the frunt rims was in a v shape when he was in the hospital he sold it to a freind he was going like 20mph i couldent beleave the tire dident pop lol

 

300ex handles better at higher speeds too i would rather have reliability than a slower quad anyways

 

The Mojave and 300ex are very close in comparison. I probably woulda bought a 300ex
when I bought my Mojave could I have gotten as good of a deal on one as I got on the
Mojave. I like the looks of the 300ex better, has a better headlight system and better
ride. The Mojave is outdated, but I believe Kawi has left it alone figuring why mess with
a good thing. You cant go wrong with either one. The Kawi is cheaper, they put out the
exact same hp, the ex has electric start, the Mo has kick. If you are gonna put mods on
later, I have been told the Mojave responds well due to the DOHC and liquid cooling. If
you are gonna ride much at night, the Mojave AINT for you. The headlight is completely
useless. I like the Mojave, hasnt given me any problems, easy to maintain, etc... I dont
have much experience with the ex, so couldnt say much about the reliability of it. But the
Mojave is reliable.

I have a 89 mojave I let my wife ride it. but a year ago i raced it and i beat 300 easy and some 400. I have gotted a 03 warrior and here its about $2000. more than the mojave. I like the mojave I'm 6ft and 150 pounds and it wasn't to small for me. I put a cobra on jet, and a twin air filter, 50 over, new plastics new tires and rims. ( I'm selling the the back rims and tires they are douglas 160 with tamers on them ). I will not buy a K&N they do let a lot of dirt in. My buddy has a 300 and its pretty nice.

 

yea, um i dont know if youve seen a mojave next to a 300ex, the mojave is like a car, lol. i know it beats a 300ex stock for stock by a small amount, but it doesnt have inferior suspension, and i have a question for you, wheres YOUR liquid cooling? the 300ex is a nice bike, dont get me wrong, its awesome in fact, but you can beat on a mojave like its a redheaded stepchild and it will still run great, i dont have a honda, so i cant say but ive ridden a fair share of quads in my day, and im happy with green in my garage.
if theres a green bike there, is destined for the podeum

 

a blaster is not a fast quad, i have a buddies whohas v force toomey pipes uni airfilter and u know what, it gets beat by another blaster with just fmf goldseries. both beat the mojave cuz they have mods but stock for stock i think a brand new blaster would give a 300ex a run for its money i raced em both and won with a mojave

i used to have a mojave and i never got beat by a 300ex or blaster. there was a 250x with a curtis sparks motor that stomped me, but it would take 400ex's. i entered in a horseshoe drag race and i raced 250x's and 300ex's and i beat them all, i came in 1st. now i have a 450R


if i were to choose a 250-350 cc quad id choose the mojave, liquid cooled and DOHC responds well to mods. im still a honda fan but the 300ex is kinda cheap
