If you have access to the tools this will give you a extremely noticable gain.
get rid of your stock air cleaner
mill the head
fmf sst pipes
power core ll silencers
port the pistons
port the jugs (if you dont know how take it to your local machine shop)
jet kit with the sloped needles
cut the rev plates off of your reeds
boost bottles

 

Thanks for the advice but I think I am going to wait until I have put 40 or 50 hours on my bike before I start with the mods.....I am happy as long as I can win a few little races here and there.

 

Dont always beleive the mags. They can be decieving

 

No offense but you east coast people need to come and see where the real power is, a lightly modded 250R beating rappy's and ds's??? pfft, either your tellin a straight up lie or someone sucks at racing.

And to get back on topic I think stock for stock would be a close race between the ds and the rappy in any distance.

 

ok i think the banshee would take it. jus because its the highest displacement 2 stroke in it. imo it SHOULD win.

 

Banshees might not take a raptor at top speed but they get the holeshot over a raptor and accelerate faster. I dont know much about a stock banshee because when i got mine i threw a set of toomey t5s on it and later on bored it .20 over. but i do know that one would accelerate faster but then eventually the raptor would take over on top.

depens on modifed or not and how long and in dirt or on clay or street. banshee,250r, v-force,quadzilla

 

mods for the banshee would be a jet kit, tommy tr-6 pipes and t-5 silencers hope i could help

 

I haven't rode most of these quads but I'd love to see how it turned out with equally skilled riders on each one and then take them to a track with lots of curves.
