Hey yall is it alright to take that swingarm plate off the Z400. Little bro just got one and when we were riding this weekend just about every rut we would ride he would get hung up on. I am the same height as him and didnt get hung but i dont have a skidplate so thinking that was what it was.

 

If you take it off and run nothing , kiss your swing arm good bye after a few good smacks.

 

So those swingarms arent as tough as they look....mine just drags the brake rotor if has too and doesnt hurt a thing

 

Hey also you steal my trailer thats exactly like mine but mine is red....arent ramp gates great

 

No they are not strong at all , I have a White Brothers skid plate on mine and love it . The stock skid was fubar after the first ride.
And yes gates are great...
