For all of you who have a quadracer, what octane gas do you use? what oil do you use? and what ratio?

 

In my 86 LT250 with a shaved head I ran87 octane on 20:1 mixture with Quicksilver brand oil from Wall Mart. My 91 LT250 I will probably run the same but cant say for sure because I’ve not got to really ride it yet due to the rear end tearing up in my truck.

 

Hey I've done quite a bit of trying to figure this out,--Anyway heres what I run, it might not make your quad the fastest thing, but I believe it is safe, and moderate. I run 4.25 gallons of gas with 89 octane, with one bottle of Golden Spectro, (which is to be mixed with 5 gallons of gas for a 50:1 ratio). Well, hope this helps, its just what I like.

 

i know there are more people on here who have a q'racer. i just want to know what you use.

 

You might try a search. There have been a few threads just recently very similar to this one.

 

I've always used maxima castrol927 w/112 octane @ 50:1. It's been good to me.

 

50:1 seems a little low for the 927....

 

Actually the 927 recommends between 20:1 to 60:1, I tried a 32:1, but I was fowling plugs too often, after several different mixtures I found that the 50:1 was correct for my zilla
