Hey all, thanks for the help. I was wondering if anyone knew how large of a bore you could do without having to switch the carb. I have an 86 quadracer, just trying to decide how high to go. Thanks all

If you get the jetting right youre probably ok with the stock carb.

 

That depends on if you offset bore the hole. Removing more materal from the top side.. If too much is removed the trottle slide will not be able to seal correctly at idle, causing a unjustable high idle...... I would remove no more then .04 of a inch.. or 1 millimeter.....
I would remove .03 from top and .01 from bottom side.....
