its my friends actually. for now, its all he can afford although he deserves a lot better. He the only kid around here except for me that actually takes care of his stuff and isnt a spoiled brat. but w/e.

the only thing wrong with it as of now is the brakes. im going to look at it tomorow to see exactly whats wrong. the front brakes work fine but the rear ones supposadly dont work. the guy said it needs a 'brake job". ill tell him about those things and see what he says. thanks, any more replies?

The only thing l did to my 230 to make it faster, was put in a rm 250 motor. Bought the thing for $100 bucks, and did a rear brake job. That's pretty much it, had a few problems with the radiators on where to mount them. But after l ask some people on this site about it, problem solved.

how much was your rear brake job and what exactly did you replace. This quad needs a rear brake job too and when i make some calls it came out to 4-500. This doesnt seem right. thanks

make sure it has the REAL slider pins on the caliper. this will let it adjust. someone put bolts in mine and i didnt realize it at first (DUH) because it wore the pads down in like a day cuz it couldnt adjust. Other than that it will fly. also get a prefilter and take your airbox lid off. you will have to rejet. mine with my lid off is the fourth clip down on the needle and a 128 main. 2 3/4 turns out. it will prolly be different on your friends, but it'll give you ballpark.
